Les Choristes: I like this song

This piece of music is an interlude of Les Choristes. This film is a French drama film directed by Christophe Barratier. The plot of this film is interesting. The teacher assembled a choir and used music to let the “difficult” children welcome future with smile.
A boy and a girl sang the beautiful melody together. And the song was a bridge between teacher and children. The teacher used music to convey the positive attitude to let the students have courage to face difficulties.

Expanded Music: my favorite music

Vltava, part of Má vlast ( My homeland ),  portrays the history and scenery of Czech, and meanwhile, is a set of six symphonic poems composed by composer Bedoich Smetana.  Vltava was known by its German name Die Moldau and finished on 4th April, 1875.

This piece of music is a depiction of the beauty of the countryside along Vltava, the  longest river in Czech. Full of Beautiful and encouragement, famous tune in Vltava is from an folk Czech song.

Musicologist John Clapham, once said "a cross-section of Czech history and legend and impressions of its scenery, and ... conveys vividly to us Smetana's view of the ethos and greatness of the nation", and this is the same feeling I share with Professor Clapham when I appreciate the piece of music.
